The Heart of Tasmania

Lying in the Tamar Valley and surrounded by forested hills, the grid-patterned city of Launceston boasts shaded avenues, vibrant street life, and a cosmopolitan atmosphere.
Museum-lovers will get to explore Yarns Artwork in Silk and Queen Victoria Museum & Art Gallery. Get outdoors at Tamar Island Wetlands and The Tamar Valley.
