Kick off your visit on the 7th (Sat): take in the spiritual surroundings of Thien Vien Truc Lam, then look for gifts at XQ Vietnam, and then get outside with Pine Track Adventures. Nestled on the banks of the Perfume River, the city of Hue remains most famous as the former home of the Nguyen Dynasty, the influence of which remains evident in local palaces, temples, forts, and museums.
Hue Imperial City (The Citadel) and Thien Mu Pagoda are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Do your shopping at Healing the Wounded Heart Shop and Dong Ba Market. Spend the 10th (Tue) exploring nature at Bach Ma National Park.
