The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO.
Get outdoors at Hyeopjae Beach and Hamdeok Beach. Step off the beaten path and head to Daepo Haean Jusangjeolli Cliff and Kim Kyung-Sook Sunflower Farm. Get out of town with these interesting Jeju side-trips: Seogwipo (Halla Mountain, Jeongbang Waterfall, &more). There's more to do: take in nature's colorful creations at Hallim Park and explore the fascinating underground world of Manjanggul Cave.

Zagreb, Croatia to Jeju is an approximately 20- hour flight. You can also do a combination of shuttle and flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 8 hours traveling from Zagreb to Jeju. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Tue) so you can travel to Busan.

Kick off your visit on the 3rd (Wed): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Beomeosa Temple, head outdoors with Haeundae Beach, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Gwangalli Beach. Keep things going the next day: stroll the grounds of UN Memorial Cemetery, get great views at Taejongdae, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Haedong Yonggung Temple, then take some stellar pictures from Cheongsapo Daritdol Observatory, and finally take in the views from Gwangandaegyo Bridge.

You can fly from Jeju to Busan in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of flight and bus. April in Busan sees daily highs of 22°C and lows of 10°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 4th (Thu) so you can drive to Gyeongju.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Republic of Korea, Gyeongju combines a rich cultural heritage with mountain and coastal scenery.
On the 5th (Fri), explore the activities along Anapji Pond, then appreciate the history behind Seokguram, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Bulguksa Temple. Here are some ideas for day two: steep yourself in history at Yangdong Folk Village, steep yourself in history at Oksanseowon Confucian Academy, then examine the collection at Gyeongju National Museum, then contemplate the long history of Gyeongju Historic Area, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Gyeongju Hyanggyo Confucian School.

You can drive from Busan to Gyeongju in 1.5 hours. Other options are to take a train; or take a bus. Traveling from Busan in April, you will find days in Gyeongju are little chillier (14°C), and nights are somewhat warmer (14°C). Finish up your sightseeing early on the 6th (Sat) so you can catch the bus to Andong.

Sitting along either side of the Nakdong River, Andong maintains an unrivalled reputation as a center for Korean folk and cultural heritage.
Popular historic sites such as Andong Hahoe Folk Village and Sinsedong Chilcheung Jeontap (Sinsedong 7 stories Brick Pagoda) are in your itinerary. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Byeongsanseowon Confucian Academy and Gounsa Temple. Venture out of the city with trips to Yeongju (Museom Village & Sosuseowon Confucian School). The adventure continues: examine the collection at Yiyuksa Literary Museum, take in the spiritual surroundings of Bongjeongsa, steep yourself in history at Dosanseowon Confucian School, and stop by Andong Gunja Village (Historic Site of Ocheon).

You can take a bus from Gyeongju to Andong in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a train. In April in Andong, expect temperatures between 14°C during the day and 14°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 9th (Tue) so you can go by car to Gangneung.

A large coastal city, Gangneung has been historically separated from much of the country because of the long, stretching mountain range that runs parallel to the sea.
Kick off your visit on the 10th (Wed): examine the collection at Ojukheon, enjoy the sand and surf at Gangmun Beach, and then head outdoors with Gyeongpo Beach. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 11th (Thu): enjoy the sand and surf at Sacheonjin Beach, then get outside with Anmok Beach, and then hike along Jeongdong-Simgok Badabuchae-gil Trail.
