Montreal, Canada to Jeju is an approximately 18-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight; or do a combination of bus and flight. The time zone changes from Eastern Standard Time (EST) to Korea Standard Time (KST), which is usually a 14 hour difference. The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Gwangandaegyo Bridge and UN Memorial Cemetery. Step out of Busan with an excursion to Oedo Botania in Geoje--about 1h 45 min away. And it doesn't end there: walk around Dongbaekseom Island, take in the spiritual surroundings of Beomeosa Temple, make a trip to Seokbulsa Temple, and enjoy the sand and surf at Haeundae Beach.

Traveling by flight from Jeju to Busan takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of ferry and car. In August in Busan, expect temperatures between 36°C during the day and 27°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 29th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Gyeongju.

Getting from Busan to Gyeongju by car takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: take a train; or take a bus. When traveling from Busan in August, plan for little chillier days in Gyeongju, with highs around 26°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 26°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 31st (Sat) so you can drive to Yangyang-gun.
