Kyoto is known for historic sites, shopping, and classes. A smaller metropolis near Osaka, Suita remains best known for hosting the World's Fair in 1970.
Venture out of the city with trips to Akutagawa Ryokuchi (in Takatsuki) and Suntory Yamazaki Distillery (in Shimamoto-cho). The adventure continues: indulge your thirst for a good beer at Asahi Breweries Suita Brewery, make a trip to Duskin Honsha 2F Terrace, stroll around Minoo Park, and examine the collection at National Museum of Ethnology.
