On the 27th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: step into the grandiose world of Deoksugung, pause for some photo ops at Gwanghwamun Gate, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Myeong-dong Cathedral, then steep yourself in history at Namsangol Hanok Village, and finally don't miss a visit to Bongeunsa Temple.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Republic of Korea, Gyeongju combines a rich cultural heritage with mountain and coastal scenery.
On the 2nd (Tue), steep yourself in history at Donggung Palace & Wolji Pond, explore the activities along Anapji Pond, then steep yourself in history at Cheomseongdae Observatory, then steep yourself in history at Gyeongju Historic Area, and finally steep yourself in history at Cheonmachong Tomb. On the 4th (Thu), snap pictures at Gwangandaegyo Bridge, then kick back and relax at Gwangalli Beach, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Beomeosa Temple, and finally contemplate the long history of Geumjung Mt. fortress. Getting from Gyeongju to Busan by car takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of bus and subway; or take a train. Traveling from Gyeongju in April, expect nights in Busan to be a bit cooler, around 10°C, while days are somewhat warmer, around 22°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 5th (Fri) early enough to travel to Haenam-gun.
