Escape the urban bustle at Geomunoreum and Jeongbang Waterfall. Bring the kids along to Hyeopjae Beach and Hamdeok Beach. Venture out of the city with trips to Seogwipo (Daepo Haean Jusangjeolli Cliff & Yongmeori Beach). Fly from Jeju to Busan in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry and bus. In June, daytime highs in Busan are 79°F, while nighttime lows are 66°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 24th (Mon) to allow enough time to drive to Gyeongju.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Republic of Korea, Gyeongju combines a rich cultural heritage with mountain and coastal scenery.
Start off your visit on the 25th (Tue): look for all kinds of wild species at Gyeongju Bird Park, take in the spiritual surroundings of Bulguksa Temple, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Seokguram, and finally see the interesting displays at Gyeongju National Museum. On the 26th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: contemplate the waterfront views at Anapji Pond, then steep yourself in history at Gyeongju Historic Area, and then get in on the family fun at Gyeongju Saegye Munhwa Expo Park.

Traveling by car from Busan to Gyeongju takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of subway and bus; or take a train. Start off your visit on the 27th (Thu): wander the streets of Andong Gunja Village (Historic Site of Ocheon), then steep yourself in history at Dosanseowon Confucian School, then delve into the lush surroundings at Ahndong Hoban Jayeon Hyooyanglim, and finally steep yourself in history at Sinsedong Chilcheung Jeontap (Sinsedong 7 stories Brick Pagoda). Here are some ideas for day two: take in the spiritual surroundings of Bongjeongsa, wander the streets of Yeongju Museom Village, then contemplate the long history of Andong Hahoe Folk Village, and finally steep yourself in history at Byeongsanseowon Confucian Academy.

A large coastal city, Gangneung has been historically separated from much of the country because of the long, stretching mountain range that runs parallel to the sea.
Kick off your visit on the 29th (Sat): get curious at Charmsori Gramophone & Edison Science Museum, tour the pleasant surroundings at Gangmun Beach, and then kick back and relax at Gyeongpo Beach. Keep things going the next day: kick back and relax at Sacheonjin Beach, kick back and relax at Jeongdongjin Beach, and then get outside with Jeongdong-Simgok Badabuchae-gil Trail.
