Miyakojima

Miyakojima
A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
Step off the beaten path and head to Aragusuku Beach and Yabiji. Take a break from the city and head to Toguchi no Hama and Yonaha Maehama Beach. There's much more to do: kick back and relax at Sunayama Beach, discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, snap pictures at Kurima Bridge, and enjoy the sea views from Higashi Hennazaki Lighthouse.

Onna-son

Located on the coast in the middle of the island, Onna-son has become known for its beaches and seaside economy.
Kick off your visit on the 9th (Tue): don't miss a visit to Nakijin Castle Ruins, then explore the striking landscape at Cape Manzamo, and then see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour.
