Ishigaki, the most populous island in the chain, features the country's southernmost city and acts as a transport hub for exploring the landmasses that surround.
On the 2nd (Tue), explore the galleries of Nei Museum of Art and then kick back and relax at Kondoi Beach. On the 3rd (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: tour the pleasant surroundings at Yonehara Beach, take in panoramic vistas at Tamatorizaki Observatory, then get outside with Cape Hirakubozaki, and finally Head underground at Ishigaki Island Limestone Cave.

Iriomote-jima

Taketomicho Iriomote-Jima stands as the second largest island in Okinawa.
Kick off your visit on the 4th (Thu): head off the coast to Iriomote Island and then skim along the rocks with a canyoning and rapelling tour. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: take in the dramatic scenery at Mizuochi Falls, then admire the sheer force of Pinaisara Falls, and then paddle through the water with a kayaking and canoeing tour.

A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
We've included these beaches for you: Yonaha Maehama Beach and Aragusuku Beach. Step off the beaten path and head to Sunayama Beach and Yabiji. Onna-son

Located on the coast in the middle of the island, Onna-son has become known for its beaches and seaside economy.
Kick off your visit on the 9th (Tue): steep yourself in history at Nakijin Castle Ruins, make a trip to Cape Manzamo, and then see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour.
