Amsterdam, The Netherlands to Tokyo is an approximately 15.5- hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight. You'll lose 8 hours traveling from Amsterdam to Tokyo due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Amsterdam in October, things will get somewhat warmer in Tokyo: highs are around 26°C and lows about 18°C. On the 18th (Fri), you'll have the morning to explore before heading off to Nikko.
