Sapporo is known for parks, shopping, historic sites, museums, and winter sports. Your plan includes some of its best attractions: walk around Odori Park, take some stellar pictures from Mt. Moiwa, get engrossed in the history at Historical Village of Hokkaido (Kaitaku-no Mura), and don't miss a visit to Sapporo Clock Tower.

Singapore, Singapore to Sapporo is an approximately 11-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or do a combination of flight and train. The time zone difference when traveling from Singapore to Sapporo is 1 hour. When traveling from Singapore in September, plan for much colder days and little chillier nights in Sapporo: temperatures range from 23°C by day to 20°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 29th (Sun) to allow enough time to drive to Yoichi-cho.

Drive from Asahikawa to Shari-cho in 4 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and car; or do a combination of train, flight, and taxi. When traveling from Asahikawa in October, plan for somewhat warmer days and about the same nights in Shari-cho: temperatures range from 16°C by day to 9°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Obihiro.
