Auckland, New Zealand to Seoul is an approximately 15-hour combination of flight and train. You can also fly. The time zone difference when traveling from Auckland to Seoul is minus 3 hours. While traveling from Auckland, expect a bit cooler days and colder nights in Seoul, ranging from highs of 13°C to lows of 1°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 23rd (Mon) early enough to go by car to Chuncheon.

The capital of the country's northernmost province, the city of Chuncheon acts a gateway to the wilder sights of the rural region.
On the 24th (Tue), go for a walk through Gongjicheon Recreation Area, then examine the collection at Gangwondo Forest Museum, and then step off the mainland to explore Nami Island. On your second day here, find something for the whole family at Gangchon Rail Park, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Cheongpyeongsa, and then take in the natural beauty of World Oncheon.

You can drive from Seoul to Chuncheon in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a subway. In March, plan for daily highs up to 13°C, and evening lows to 1°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 25th (Wed) early enough to go by car to Sokcho.

Sitting along either side of the Nakdong River, Andong maintains an unrivalled reputation as a center for Korean folk and cultural heritage.
Explore Andong's surroundings by going to Cheongnyangsa Temple (in Bonghwa-gun), Yeongju (Buseoksa Temple & Sosuseowon Confucian School) and Mungyeong Saejae Provincial Park (in Mungyeong). There's much more to do: appreciate the extensive heritage of Andong Hahoe Folk Village, contemplate the waterfront views at Jusanji Pond, explore the wealth of natural beauty at Juwangsan National Park, and explore the fascinating underground world of Gosu Cave.

You can drive from Sokcho to Andong in 3.5 hours. Other options are to take a bus; or do a combination of bus and train. In March in Andong, expect temperatures between 17°C during the day and 2°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 1st (Wed) so you can catcht the bus to Gyeongju.
