The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities and Great Sphinx are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Change things up with a short trip to Pyramids of Giza in Giza (about 36 minutes away). The adventure continues: delve into the distant past at Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids, stop by Islamic Cairo, don't miss a visit to Mosque of Sultan Al-Ashraf Barsbay, and stroll around Al-Azhar Park.
