The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Gwaneumsa Temple and Seongeup Folk Village. Hallim Park and Jeju National Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. When in Jeju, make a side trip to see O'Sulloc Tea Museum in Seogwipo, approximately 1h 10 min away. There's still lots to do: explore the striking landscape at Geomunoreum, head off the coast to Udo, Head underground at Manjanggul Cave, and identify plant and animal life at Sangumburi Crater.

Traveling by flight from Seoul to Jeju takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of train, taxi, and ferry. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel to Busan.

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
Visit Haeundae Beach and Songjeong Beach for some beach relaxation. Get some historical perspective at Beomeosa Temple and Haedong Yonggung Temple. There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Gwangalli Beach, get a taste of the local shopping with Gwangbokro Culture and Fashion street, stroll through Yongdusan Park, and make a trip to BIFF Square.

You can fly from Jeju to Busan in 3 hours. Other options are to do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry and bus. In June, daytime highs in Busan are 30°C, while nighttime lows are 22°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 18th (Mon) to allow time to drive to Gyeongju.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Republic of Korea, Gyeongju combines a rich cultural heritage with mountain and coastal scenery.
Visiting Juwangsan National Park and Gyeongju National Park will get you outdoors. Get a sense of the local culture at Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram. There's still lots to do: explore the activities along Anapji Pond, contemplate the long history of Donggung Palace & Wolji Pond, pause for some photo ops at Tongiljeon, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Gyeongju Hyanggyo Confucian School.

Getting from Busan to Gyeongju by car takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of subway and bus; or take a train. Traveling from Busan in June, you will find days in Gyeongju are a bit cooler (23°C), and nights are about the same (20°C). On the 22nd (Fri), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can drive to Gangneung.
