One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Wed): wander the streets of Garosu-gil, thenadmire the natural beauty at Namsan Park, thentake in the awesome beauty at Inwangsan Mountain, and finally admire the striking features of Deoksugung.

The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO.
You'll get in some beach time at Hamdeok Beach and Gwakji Gwamul Beach. Museum-lovers will get to explore Jeju National Museum and Haenyeo Museum. Change things up with these side-trips from Jeju: Seogwipo (Halla Mountain & O’sulloc Tea Museum). There's still lots to do: hike along Geomunoreum, step off the mainland to explore Udo, look for all kinds of wild species at Sangumburi Crater, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Gwaneumsa Temple.

Traveling by flight from Seoul to Jeju takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train, taxi, and ferry; or do a combination of train and ferry. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Wed) so you can travel to Busan.

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Jagalchi Market and Gukje Market. Step out of the city life by going to Haeundae Beach and Songjeong Beach. There's much more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Haedong Yonggung Temple, see the interesting displays at Busan Museum, get a taste of the local shopping with Shinsegae Dept. Store Centum City, and enjoy the sand and surf at Gwangalli Beach.

Fly from Jeju to Busan in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry, taxi, and train. June in Busan sees daily highs of °C and lows of °C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Mon) so you can drive to Gyeongju.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Republic of Korea, Gyeongju combines a rich cultural heritage with mountain and coastal scenery.
Get in touch with nature at Juwangsan National Park and Bomun Lake. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram. Spend the 21st (Thu) exploring nature at Gyeongju National Park. There's lots more to do: examine the collection at Gyeongju National Museum, steep yourself in history at Cheomseongdae Observatory, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Gyeongju Hyanggyo Confucian School, and get to know the fascinating history of Tongiljeon.

Traveling by car from Busan to Gyeongju takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. Traveling from Busan in June, expect nights in Gyeongju to be about the same, around °C, while days are slightly colder, around °C. On the 22nd (Fri), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can drive to Gangneung.

A large coastal city, Gangneung has been historically separated from much of the country because of the long, stretching mountain range that runs parallel to the sea.

You can drive from Gyeongju to Gangneung in 3.5 hours. Another option is to take a bus. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 23rd (Sat) early enough to drive to Seoul.
