Fly from Sendai to Sapporo in 4 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and flight; or take a train. Prepare for slightly colder weather when traveling from Sendai in December: high temperatures in Sapporo hover around 0°C and lows are around -2°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 26th (Sat) so you can travel to Toyama.
