Traveling by flight from Sendai to Sapporo takes 4 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and flight; or take a train. In December, Sapporo is little chillier than Sendai - with highs of 0°C and lows of -2°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 26th (Sat) early enough to travel to Toyama.
