Situated between the Neris and Nemunas rivers, Kaunas is known for its old town, which, though smaller than the capital's, is in much better condition.
On the 5th (Mon), look for all kinds of wild species at Aleksotas Hill, then indulge in some personalized pampering at some of the best spas, and then wander the streets of Laisves aleja (Liberty Boulevard).

Getting from Paphos to Kaunas by flight takes about 8 hours. Other options: do a combination of car and ferry. In July, Kaunas is a bit cooler than Paphos - with highs of 27°C and lows of 15°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 5th (Mon) early enough to go by car to Vilnius.
