One of Germany’s oldest towns and home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Regensburg today offers a medieval charm not found in many of the country’s cities today.
Venture out of the city with trips to Landshut (Heiliggeistkirche, Landshuter Hochzeit, &more), Burg zu Burghausen (in Burghausen) and Kurpark (in Bad Fussing). Spend the 15th (Wed) exploring nature at Tierfreigelaende im Nationalparkzentrum Lusen. Spend the 20th (Mon) exploring nature at Nationalpark Bayerischer Wald. And it doesn't end there: make a trip to Old Town, visit Fuggerei, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cathedral of St Peter's, and see the interesting displays at Audi Museum.
