Famous for its natural port and Byzantine castle, Kyrenia is not only a lovely old Venetian town, but also the most visited tourist destination in Northern Cyprus.
Start off your visit on the 16th (Fri): delve into the distant past at Bellapais Monastery, take an in-depth tour of Ancient Shipwreck Museum, then explore the historical opulence of Kyrenia Castle, and finally explore the ancient world of Saint Hilarion Castle. On the next day, make a trip to Agha Cafar Pasha Mosque, contemplate the waterfront views at Kyrenia Harbour, kick back and relax at Alagadi Turtle Beach, then make a trip to Hasan kavizade huseyin efendi fountain and stone steps, and finally make a trip to The Cyprus House & Carob Warehouse.

Tel Aviv, Israel to Kyrenia is an approximately 13.5-hour flight. Expect a bit cooler evenings in Kyrenia when traveling from Tel Aviv in February, with lows around 7°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 18th (Sun) early enough to go by car to Famagusta.

Just east of the capital sits Famagusta, an ancient port city with archaeological attractions, as well as an abandoned quarter that is popular among tourists as a symbol of the conflict between Turks and Greeks.
Start off your visit on the 18th (Sun): take in the spiritual surroundings of Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque, steep yourself in history at Famagusta City Walls, then mingle with the ghosts of the past at Ghost Town Famagusta, and finally explore the ancient world of Salamis Ancient City.
