Snaking up the side of a rounded, tree-dotted hill, Hobart sits between Tasmania’s sprawling mountains and the vast estuary of the River Derwent.
Kick off your visit on the 7th (Sun): look for gifts at The Wicked Cheese Co., then identify plant and animal life at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, then take in nature's colorful creations at Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, and finally go for a walk through Battery Point Sculpture Trail.
