The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
We've included these beaches for you: Haeundae Beach and Songdo Beach. Get some cultural insight at Gamcheon Culture Village and Busan Museum of Art. Singapore, Singapore to Busan is an approximately 11-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of bus and flight. The time zone difference moving from Singapore Time (SGT) to Korea Standard Time (KST) is 1 hour. Traveling from Singapore in April, expect Busan to be much colder, temps between 22°C and 10°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Wed) so you can drive to Gyeongju.

Traveling by car from Busan to Gyeongju takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. Expect slightly colder weather when traveling from Busan in May: highs in Gyeongju hover around 18°C, while lows dip to 18°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 10th (Sun) so you can catch the bus to Andong.

Sitting along either side of the Nakdong River, Andong maintains an unrivalled reputation as a center for Korean folk and cultural heritage.
Get a sense of the local culture at Andong Hahoe Folk Village and Hahoe Mask Museum. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Aqua World and Gosu Cave. Venture out of the city with trips to Cheongsong-gun (Jusanji Pond & Juwangsan National Park), Yeongju (Sosuseowon Confucian School & Buseoksa Temple) and Cheongnyangsa Temple (in Bonghwa-gun). A large coastal city, Gangneung has been historically separated from much of the country because of the long, stretching mountain range that runs parallel to the sea.
Visit Chuam Beach and Gangmun Beach for some beach relaxation. Kids will enjoy Jeongdongjin Beach and Charmsori Gramophone & Edison Science Museum. Venture out of the city with trips to Goseong-gun (Cheonjin Beach & Bongpo Beach) and Seoraksan National Park (in Sokcho). It doesn't end there: kick back and relax at Gyeongpo Beach.

A sprawling metropolis and center for research, Daejeon stands as the fifth largest city in South Korea.
