Do your shopping at Arario Museum Tapdong Cinema and Seogwipo Maeil Olleh Market. Visit Hamdeok Beach and Woljeongri Beach for some beach relaxation. Get out of town with these interesting Jeju side-trips: Seogwipo (Songaksan Mountain, Yongmeori Beach, &more). Get some cultural insight at Hwaeomsa Temple and Saseongam Temple 四聖庵. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Suncheon Bay Garden and Unjusa. Gongju, also spelt Kongju, is a city in South Chungcheong province, South Korea.HistoryGongju was formerly named Ungjin and was the capital of Baekje from AD 475 to 538. Kick off your visit on the 15th (Wed): take in the spiritual surroundings of Magoksa Temple, then see the interesting displays at Gongju National Museum, and then contemplate the long history of Gongsanseong. On your second day here, examine the collection at Buyeo National Museum, then contemplate the long history of Busosanseong Fortress, and then steep yourself in history at Nakhwaam Rock.

Expect a bit warmer weather when traveling from Gyeongju in January: highs in Busan hover around 7°C, while lows dip to -3°C. On the 8th (Sat), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel back home.
