Hwaeomsa Temple and Unjusa will appeal to history buffs. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Gwanghallu Pavilion and Ssanggyesa Temple. Explore Suncheon's surroundings by going to Saseongam Temple 四聖庵 (in Gurye-gun), Hwagae Market (in Hadong-gun) and Jinju (Gyeongsangnamdo Arboretum & Jinjuseong). In June, daily temperatures in Suncheon can reach 68°F, while at night they dip to 66°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 26th (Fri) so you can go by car to Busan.

Wrap up your sightseeing on the 3rd (Fri) to allow time to drive to Gyeongju.

Gongju, also spelt Kongju, is a city in South Chungcheong province, South Korea.HistoryGongju was formerly named Ungjin and was the capital of Baekje from AD 475 to 538. Visit Gwanchoksa Temple and Nakhwaam Rock for their historical value. Do some cultural sightseeing at Magoksa Temple and Buyeo National Museum. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Gongju: Gaetaesa Temple (in Nonsan) and Busosanseong (in Buyeo-gun).
