Seoul

— 5 nights
One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Get some cultural insight at Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village. Take a break from the city and head to Cheonggyecheon Stream and Bukhansan National Park. Get out of town with these interesting Seoul side-trips: Nami Island (in Chuncheon) and DMZ Haemaru Village (in Paju). And it doesn't end there: wander the streets of Insadong, steep yourself in history at Deoksugung, visit Myeongdong Shopping Street, and take in nature's colorful creations at Changdeokgung Palace.
