One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Get some cultural insight at Gyeongbokgung Palace and Myeongdong Shopping Street. Visiting Cheonggyecheon Stream and Bukhansan National Park will get you outdoors. Take a break from Seoul with a short trip to DMZ Haemaru Village in Paju, about 1h 25 min away. Next up on the itinerary: wander the streets of Insadong, admire the striking features of Deoksugung, don't miss a visit to Dongdaemun Gate (Heunginjimun), and take some stellar pictures from N Seoul Tower.

If you are flying in from Poland, the closest major aiports are Gimpo International Airport, Incheon International Airport and Osan Air Base. In September in Seoul, expect temperatures between 26°C during the day and 25°C at night. You'll have a few hours on the 21st (Sat) to wrap things up before traveling home.
