The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
Start off your visit on the 23rd (Thu): don't miss a visit to Yongdusan Park. On your second day here, take in the spiritual surroundings of Haedong Yonggungsa, kick back and relax at Haeundae Beach, and then kick back and relax at Gwangalli Beach.

Singapore, Singapore to Busan is an approximately 9.5-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone changes from Singapore Standard Time to Korean Standard Time, which is usually a 1 hour difference. In December, Busan is cooler than Singapore - with highs of 10°C and lows of 0°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 24th (Fri) to allow enough time to fly to Seoul.

Pack the 25th (Sat) with family-friendly diversions at Lotte World. There's lots more to do: get engrossed in the history at Gyeongbokgung Palace, don't miss a visit to Insadong, visit Myeongdong Shopping Street, and take in panoramic vistas at N Seoul Tower.

Fly from Busan to Seoul in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Prepare for a bit cooler weather when traveling from Busan in December: high temperatures in Seoul hover around 3°C and lows are around -5°C.
