Ayia Napa

Though Ayia Napa boasts archaeological sites and the largest water park in Europe, the city is best known as a party hub.
Venture out of the city with trips to Larnaca (Hala Sultan Tekke, Larnaka Salt Lake, & more), Kyrenia (Bellapais Monastery, Kyrenia Castle, & more) and Camel Park (in Mazotos). There's much more to do: see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, make a splash at Fasouri Watermania Water Park, enjoy the sand and surf at Makronissos Beach, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of Profitis Elias.

If you are flying in from Romania, the closest major airports are Larnaca International Airport, Ercan International Airport and Paphos International Airport. Expect a daytime high around 39°C in July, and nighttime lows around 26°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Thu) so you can travel back home.
