One of Germany’s oldest towns and home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Regensburg today offers a medieval charm not found in many of the country’s cities today.
Venture out of the city with trips to Bayreuth (Schlosskirche, Hermitage Castle (Altes Schloss Ermitage), &more), Passau (Dom St. Stephan, Donau Cycle Path, &more) and Schnaps - Museum Penninger (in Spiegelau). There's still lots to do: wander the streets of Old Town, explore the striking landscape of Baumwipfelpfad Bavarian Forest, snap pictures at Old Stone Bridge, and make a trip to Waldwipfelweg.

You can plan Regensburg trip in no time by asking Inspirock to help create your itinerary.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Flughafen München-Riem, Nuremberg Airport and Memmingen Allgau Airport. In May in Regensburg, expect temperatures between 64°F during the day and 44°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 10th (Sun) early enough to travel back home.
