The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
Kick off your visit on the 3rd (Sun): take in the spiritual surroundings of Haedong Yonggungsa, kick back and relax at Haeundae Beach, and then make a trip to Gwangandaegyo Bridge.

Helsinki, Finland to Busan is an approximately 13-hour flight. The time zone difference moving from Eastern European Standard Time to Korean Standard Time is 7 hours. Traveling from Helsinki in April, things will get a bit warmer in Busan: highs are around 22°C and lows about 10°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 3rd (Sun) early enough to catch the flight to Jeju.

The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO. The World Heritage-listed volcanic island includes the country's highest peak, sets of impressive lava tubes and columns, and several crater lakes.
Step off the beaten path and head to Nature & Wildlife Tours and Daepo Haean Jusangjeolli Cliff. Take a break from Jeju with a short trip to Jeongbang Waterfall in Seogwipo, about 46 minutes away. There's much more to do: walk around Hallim Park, kick back and relax at Gwakji Gwamul Beach, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Hyeopjae Beach.

Getting from Busan to Jeju by flight takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of train, taxi, and ferry. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Wed) to allow enough time to fly to Seoul.

One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Seoul is known for shopping, museums, and parks. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: browse the exhibits of Gyeongbokgung Palace, make a trip to Bukchon Hanok Village, take some stellar pictures from N Seoul Tower, and admire the striking features of Changdeokgung Palace.

In April, daily temperatures in Seoul can reach 20°C, while at night they dip to 9°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 9th (Sat) so you can catch the flight back home.
