One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Seoul is known for shopping, museums, and parks. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: get engrossed in the history at Gyeongbokgung Palace, explore the activities along Cheonggyecheon Stream, admire the striking features of Changdeokgung Palace, and visit Insadong.

Helsinki, Finland to Seoul is an approximately 13-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone difference moving from Eastern European Standard Time (EET) to Korean Standard Time (KST) is 7 hours. Prepare for somewhat warmer weather when traveling from Helsinki in April: high temperatures in Seoul hover around 20°C and lows are around 9°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 6th (Wed) early enough to catch the flight to Jeju.

The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO. The World Heritage-listed volcanic island includes the country's highest peak, sets of impressive lava tubes and columns, and several crater lakes.
Change things up with these side-trips from Jeju: Seogwipo (Cheonjiyeon Falls & Seongsan Ilchulbong). And it doesn't end there: Head underground at Manjanggul Cave, step off the mainland to explore Udo, stroll through Hamdeok Beach, and take in nature's colorful creations at Hallim Park.
