Yangon (Rangoon), Myanmar to Hanoi is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and car. Traveling from Yangon (Rangoon) to Hanoi, you'll lose 0.5 hours due to the time zone difference. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 5th (Thu) so you can catch the bus to Halong Bay.
