Where do I start? This is really worth it to visit. Amazing view from the top of the mountain and a beautiful trail through the woods passing a small green loch. The long trail isn't too hard to do, it's 10km and will take from 2-5 hours depending on the person doing the trail. You need some hiking experience to do it but I think most average adults can do it. I wouldn't recommend taking kids under the age of 10-11 because I'm not sure if they're able to make this trail. I wouldn't recommend to do this in the rain because the steps can become slippery and the steep parts of the trail will become hard to climb. The entire path would become mud which will make it almost impossible to do the trail. On top of the mountain you have a great view, however it can be very windy so make sure you're prepared for that. Car parking is cheap, but make sure you come early in the day so that you're sure of a parking spot. After the trail you can get something to eat and/or drink at the restaurant. Would definitely recommend doing this!
We walked around the loch. Takes @ 1.5 hours ish. Some of the route uses the old logging road opposite. Nice beach at one end near a car park £1 hour £1.50 3 hours or £2 all day. Also cafe and separate toilets, free and in a reasonable state pleasant surprise.
