Loch Ness Centre & Exhibition, Drumnadrochit

This is the Research Centre for all things science on the Ness phenomenon. Yet the Exhibition, presented through a series of multi media installations was accessible to younger children whilst still appealing to adults. All the history without the gimmicks. You should definitely pair this visit with the Centre's boat trip on Deep Scan where you can see some of the scanning equipment for reading the Loch in action.

I found the exhibition tour pretty poor value for money due to it essentially consisting of 5 or 6 dated videos. What really annoyed me was that the conclusion of the tour lead you to believe that Nessy wasn't real and it's just a made up story. Fine for me, but we had just booked a boat for the kids to look for him an hour later at £51. The Loch boat tour on Deep Scan was very good value for money and the skipper gave a good description and was brilliant with the kids.
