Walk up the gorge crossing many small water falls to sea the spectacular Steall waterfall. Be prepared for a rocky walk but well worth the effort. more »
This was a great hike/walk, most of the pathway is wrapped around the side of the mountain with just a few parts of the path that you need to climb no more than waist night. You cross a few little streams that roll down the mountain but once you get to opening of the valley you see and hear the spectacular view of the waterfall. Watch out for the surprise rope bridge you take to cross over the river that can be a tad tricky at first steps but extremely fun
Really lovely walk through the mountains which opens up to reveal the waterfall. Some nice views along the way, appropriate footwear is essential due to the terrain. If you want to get a closer look at the waterfall there is a rope suspended about 5ft above the ground which is a great photo opportunity.
