Bask in the isolated atmosphere of Scourie Bay, with just the sound of a crisp gust rustling the grassy bay. You won't be able to do much swimming as the water is usually too cold--unless you visit during the hottest days of the summer--but you can just enjoy the views, explore the nearby rock pools, admire the sunset, and spot the native wildlife scurrying about.   • The beach itself is gorgeous, very white sand and blue waters. There are some large rocky areas near the shore which the waves kept hitting, creating a kind of small wave machine effect in one area...  more »

  • Lovely quiet campsite overlooking bay. Reasonably priced, clean facilities and coin operated washers and dryers. Couldn't fault it.
