Ba Vì National Park (Vietnamese: Vườn quốc gia Ba Vì) is a national park located 48 km (30 mi) west of Hanoi, Vietnam. The park is 10,815 ha (26,720 acres) in area, and is located in the Ba Vì mountain range. The park has rich and diverse tropical and subtropical species of flora and fauna.

Ba Vì National Park is located in Ba Vì District of Hanoi and two districts of Hòa Bình Province, namely Lương Sơn and Kỳ Sơn. The Park is situated on a mountain range running north-east and south-west with its peak at Vua Peak of 1,296 m and Tan Vien Peak of 1,226 m and Ngoc Hoa Peak of 1,120 m.

    Just 55km from a Hanoi. The distance from the entrance to the top is about 12 km.... all uphill. We hiked from the bottom which i only suggest if you are fit. On the way here is beautiful scenery...  more »

    We rode motorcycles out from the city, there isn't much to see unless you research the trip. We found a really nice coffee shop along the way... Once at Ba Vi we found our homestay and ate lunch...  more »

    Really nice area to go. Near Hanoi (approx 1,5 hr) with nice nature, fresh air as well as colder weather. Many places to discover like pagoda, old French summer camp with mysterious churche and even some waterfall.

    There are a lot of activities here! Camping, outings camp fire, swimming pool ... restaurant here is a bit expensive but since that is the only on restaurant and bar in this area! All four seasons are beautiful to visit, we love autumn and winter foggy since all photos are extremely cool! Ticket is cheap!
