At Dong Ba Market buy specialties from locals, affordable clothes, and souvenirs. The market mostly sells fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, and seafood. If buying to make a dish by yourself, don’t forget the spices characteristic to this culture. However, you can try delicious prepared food at the food stalls. In addition to food, you can buy house items, clothes, footwear, and jewelry. Here, vendors sell traditional souvenirs, such as conical hats with lines of poems on them. Dong Ba Market Reviews
1階が食材、2階が衣類を売っているマーケットです。日本にはまずない雰囲気が新鮮でした。 ただし、買いたいと思えるものが無かったこと、臭いが強烈、通路も狭いので、少し見れば十分でした。 more »The first floor is the market where ingredients are sold and the second floor sells clothes. The atmosphere that is rare in Japan was fresh. However, there was nothing that I wanted to buy, the smell was intense, and the passage was narrow, so it was enough to look at a little.
Premetto che mi piace cercare la "Vita quotidiana" dei posti che visitiamo... questo è un loro tipico mercato nel quale si può trovare un po' di tutto dall'abbigliamento al cibo/spezie dalle calzature... more »I say that I like to look for the "daily life" of the places we visit... this is their typical market where you can find a bit of everything from clothing to food/spices from footwear to work tools... Some foods are a bit "strong" for us, especially for smell and hygiene... To be seen, but to buy there is little, it is more thought for them, especially because there are no prices and therefore you arm yourself with patience and bargain, or you risk paying absurd sums for cheap goods. it's still interesting to take a ride in the area as well.
We had really nice local food here, the fish cake made with the leafs was surprising me! The noodles without soup one was delicious too! All good, all unforgettable.
Quite a good market. Worth the walk over the river. There are some genuine deals to be had. Bought some good esspresso cups. But do be prepared to barter and then walk to get a fair price. You can get a good exchange rate at most of the gold stalls. Just check it first. They will give u a rate and then when u say yes they will take their commission. I do not have a problem paying commission I just like to know what it is before I say yes.
