Admire a huge 24 m (79 ft) tall statue of White Gautama Buddha--the largest outdoor scultpure in Vietnam--at Long Son Pagoda, the largest pagoda in the country. Intricate dragon mosaics made of glass and ceramic tiles decorate the entrance to the temple, with the large statue of the reclining Buddha resting in the temple’s well-manicured garden. Climb 152 steps to the top of the mountain to enjoy the big Buddha arising from lush greenery from a distance, as well as gaining panoramic views over the city. Actually not such an eyesore because this has charm. It looks like a peeled pink banana or a Flash Gordon spaceship. It can be seen from just about anywhere on the beach and peaking through buildings.... more

Nice temple. One of the two temples to visit in Nha Trang. Worth a visit! Only 35 dong to get in which is a bargain. Don't forget it is a temple so you will need to wear appropriate clothingbut if you forget, they do have robes you can borrow. Some of the building has been restored but it's been done in a way that looks like it's original features. The massive white Buddha alone is beautiful and you don't have to walk up a hill for hours to see it.
Very good place to visit. Sadly the Pagoda was being repaired but we could visit the big Buddha. Close to the entry there is a very good vegetarian restaurant. Inside the big Buddha there is a place to worship very peaceful. Very recommended.
