Having failed to book a tour online (the website didn’t recognise a time had been entered), we went in person. Neither security staff we met spoke they just intimated where to go. There was no-one on the main desk and the lady in the shop just scowled!! Fantastic experience and no tour

The company has produced brandy since 1887, when merchant-philanthropist Nerses Tairyan and his cousin Vasily Tairov brought French distillation technology to Yerevan.
