As per previous venues visited on our tour - our experience felt unprepared. The first 15 minutes was spent waiting for service as a group of 2 were in the middle of a cheese and gin tasting. We were a large group of 11 and the venue and more than 3/4 of the outdoor seating area were available yet we were made to stand and wait until the group of 2 had finished. Our cheese tasting proceeded standing- each cheese being placed in your hand. No napkin, plate or fork offered. No crackers. No reference sheet. Vodka/Gin tasting followed and was a similar laid back experience - you asked for what you wanted to taste and were provided with a breakdown of the product. A costing/tasting sheet was not provided and had to be asked for. Overall, lovely spot over looking the bay. Cheeses were delightful and the Vodka interesting. I would not return given the experience- I personally prefer more history and run down of the process and felt the experience was more rushed + pushed to make you purchase (rather than return).

Highly recommend! Hadn't planned to stop here but so glad we did. $10 for a cheese and spirit tasting (vodka and gin). The ladies at the cellar door were very knowledgeable and passionate for the company. The company strives to be environmentally friendly with their products. They have a range of cheese, spirits and skin care all created by the three family members who own the business. There is also the option to churn your own butter and create your own bottle of gin with your own botanicals/flavour profile. Highly recommend!
