  • Magnificent multicultural gardens which have been run by volunteers for 40 years, amazing fact! No such thing as a bad photo here. The garden is breathtakingly beautiful. The rhododendrons spectacular. My favourite part was the Japanese 🏯 garden & all the lovely lakes. You will be bathed in translucent colour and reflection. A must see whilst visiting Tasmania, our island paradise.
  • One of the lovely places to see Autumn colours in NW Tassie. A huge Arboretum which is all maintained by volunteers! Various trees and plants from various continents flourish there. The fern enclave made it appear as if I was in the midst of a bygone era. One of the volunteers at the office, too her time to explain the park and how it grew with the hard work of volunteers. And I mainly went to capture the beauty of Autumn, and I wasnt disappointed, though I went late when the trees have shed their beauty mostly. Would return for the spring and next autumn, for sure. And!! if you are a local, buying a membership of 30AUD would be much useful if you love frequenting this park.
