Really well cared for MTB trails. Not much green tracks, you can do a loop around the Derby lake which is nice and is basically a mostly flat trail. You can climb to the top or take a shuttle $15 (2023). Nice spots to see along the trails.

Spent 4 days riding, so many options for all levels and style of rider through amazing bush, views and history. Some tracks were closed due to flooding the previous few days but they were already working on them, very well maintained trails. Book everything in advance, especially in peak season. Recommend the 40km Blue Teir to Derby shuttle/ride stopping at Weldborough Pub half way ... don't be tempted to eat too much though (like a chicken parmi), you will feel it on the second half!!
