    The lookout gives a vertigo-inducing view of a landscape scarred by historical mining activity. Walk out onto a cantilevered lookout offering fantastic views over the former open cut mine and the Linda Valley. Travel to the lookout by turning onto Iron Blow Road at the top of the Gormanston Hill. Access is via a sealed road, with ample free parking available.

    Best Lookout to look at the mining area. Also a good lookout to see the Mt Owen trails if you’re in Queenstown for mountain Biking! A bit steep up to drive and some blind corners. Take care driving up and down when it’s wet!
