Battery Point Sculpture Trail
Battery Point Sculpture Trail is named after a battery of guns, which were established here in 1818 as defense against French and Russian invaders. This historic city district retains much of its character from over a century ago. If you'd like, join a guided tour of the district's most notable historic houses and restaurants dating back to the first European settlement of the city. You can also sightsee on your own and drop by one of the popular pubs for a quick bite and a refreshing drink. This upscale neighborhood provides an ideal natural backdrop for photographs, making it a popular stop for tourists. Put Battery Point Sculpture Trail and other Hobart attractions into our Hobart trip itinerary maker app, and watch your holiday take shape.

Not enough signs nor sculptures. It’s very unclear where to start or finish so we just made the most of our walk by checking out the houses and the views of the water but as far as a sculpture trail goes even 1 star is too generous!

This is really not my cup of tea normally but thought I would give it a go. I did like it and enjoyed the walk. I started at the second station at the top of the hill. Some of the locations were a little trick which added to the enjoyment of trying to find them. I thought there were some other sculptures they could have added and made it longer. All in all it was a bit of fun, my wife and I enjoyed the journey.
