  • The best part of this experience was being able to closely observe tasmanian raptors. And also recieve expert advice from the very knowledgeable guide.

  • A wonderful place for wildlife lovers. So many Raptors there and the staffs are very kind. First time seeing tawny frogmouth eating, it's so cute. The masked owl in the education center was quiet and calm. We saw 10 out of 13 Raptors in one place. Which is amazing! It made our day very special and exciting. Thanks to the staff who has huge knowledge of Raptors and shared to us. We recommend this place if you would like to discover more about Raptors. It's great to know about eyes color of grey goshawk are changing by their ages which is very special. 😀
  • Loved the tour by Juliet. She shared with us the history of the Refuge and background of their resident raptors. They were all so beautiful and looked well cared for. The enclosures they were in were nice too. Would highly recommend visiting and learning more about their work and what we can do to protect these lovely birds. P.s. the Refuge is very close to the Bruny island ferry
