City Park is a heritage park containing the city's botanic gardens, radio museum, gallery of wood design and furniture, and an enclosed colony of macaque monkeys. The park's monorail operates on most days and is a popular tourist attraction, taking visitors around the area's most notable landmarks. The most prominent buildings at this location are Albert Hall, which was built in 1891; a convention center; and the studios of City Park Radio. The studios are located inside a cottage that once served as the park caretakers' home, and still boast one of the oldest wisteria wines in Australia, planted in 1837. Great place to hang out. Plenty to do and to walk around. Beautiful flowers and a garden. There's monkeys and a play ground for kids. Play ground with the train could use an upgrade. Plenty of Pokemon stops. Place to eat on the side which is currently closed so no shops close at the moment. decent looking toilets. No dogs allowed which is dumb. Plenty of seating on grass and a spot to play chess with big pieces. Worth a visit. Better than princes square.
