Josophan's Fine Chocolate
Josophan's is the vision of owner and chocolatier Jodie Van Der Velden, with an aim to create extraordinary fine chocolates, without compromise, using the highest quality fresh, natural ingredients, ethically sourced chocolate, and natural flavour infusions without the use of artificial flavours or preservatives.Plan trip to Leura with our itinerary maker to find out where to go and what to do.
Josophan's chocolates therefore have a shelf life more like a patisserie product, rather than a long supermarket shelf life product, and are best eaten within 7 days. Popular flavours include Lime & Basil, Tahitian Vanilla Bean, Fresh Mint & Orange, Honey and Saffron, and Chilli and Mango.
Same day courier delivery is available to Sydney, Central Coast and Wollongong through online shopping www.josophans.com.au however Josophan's Fine chocolates are too fragile to send elsewhere with Australia Post .....
Josophan's also hosts chocolate making, and baking classes .... check the website for the details, under 'coming events' www.josophans.com.au

You would have to be a real chocaholic to be willing to pay the asking prices in this shop, like $2.50 to $4 for just one small chocolate! Admittedly, they are fancy but very pricey.

Huge variety of chocolates. Huge store. Loved the ice cream toppings and the variety. They made beautiful gifts (including one for myself !) The Easter range was great, beautiful creations and flavours. The caramel chocolate was smooth. The chocolate brownie was dry, very ordinary, and very expensive. I don’t recommend it. Went next door for ice cream and opted for the sundae, which was also very ordinary for $12.50. I should have stuck with the hot or ice chocolates which is what is recommended there.

Amazing shop with a huge variety of chocolates. The last time I saw such a rich selection was in Europe. The quality is excellent, but the Ruby with raspberry chocolate just won me over.
