Trip Planner: South Pacific / Australia / Victoria / Melbourne / Eureka Skydeck
Sitting at 285 m (935 ft) above the streets of Melbourne, Eureka Skydeck is the highest public vantage point in a building in the Southern Hemisphere. Its name comes from its home on the 88th floor of the Eureka Tower, which itself is the 12th highest residential building in the world. For a thrill, walk out on The Edge, a glass enclosure that hangs 3 m (10 ft) off the side of the building. Plan your visit to Eureka Skydeck and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Melbourne trip planning app.

Eureka Skydeck reviews
We went to experience the Skydeck and few other experiences in this tower including two VR activities. I have visited this place few times before, but I think now they have improved the total...

Fabulous views over the city, Edge walk was ok, worth the extra dollars? Probably just to experience it.

Best place to get a birds eye view of the city of Melbourne. The sunset from the top is breathtaking. The best time to visit is in the afternoon just before the sunset and the sun is not too bright, the city looks spectacular. The night view also very nice. Tickets are a bit pricey but worth the experience. Highly recommended
If you enjoy good views, I’d definitely recommend spending the money on this. You get great views over the city of Melbourne. The best time to go up is around sunset, so make sure you stay to see the switch from day to night. I didn’t buy any of the extra tickets you can get (Virtual Reality Experience or pictures and co.) and to be honest, I don’t think I missed out on anything. The Deck itself even has a little outside area, where you can breathe some fresh air from the 88. level. There is also a bar up there, but as you’d expect, it is quite expensive. So if the weather is good, I’d definitely recommend going up.
