  • Impressive place. As a monument, but also fully functional. The kind of place people can enjoy and use at the same time. Don’t miss the views from the dome.

  • This state library is definitely a must-see attraction when you are in Victoria, either you are local residents or tourists. I went to this state library many times before but just for studying and reading at the ground level. Dont know why I didnt consider visit this whole library - such a big mistake. Until recently, my best friend from Sydney came down and wanted to come here for visit; this gave us the chance to really discover this wonderful library properly for the first time (thanks Sharon 😘). The building is like a combined gallery, museum and library all together. Magnificent architecture especially the dome. You definitely must come here for a visit. Its on level 3 but best place for photo would be in level 4. No need to go up to the top on level 6 as you can only access a very small area, its harder to take photo here also and long queue for the lift too. Huge space with different sections for kid, general reading, newspapers, studying. Lots of projects and exhibitions are currently on including World book 2022 and Ned Kelly - super cool. Can easily spend couple of hours here. Very friendly and helpful staffs too. Overall, such a great place for visit in Victoria. Cant recommend enough!
  • A great building rich in history. My favourite place when needing a different study place. Lots of fun exhibits. Recently, I took my kids to some Lego building activities around the kids centre in the building. One small issue is they don’t loan out their collection of books.
