Cosy and relaxed ambience. Lovely and super friendly vibe. The hostess took us through the amazing wine-tasting experience. I’d say the best we had in the Hunter Valley during our recent 4 day stay here. The wines, especially the Semillons which are a speciality of the region surprised me. We picked a box of their best Semillons and red wines. Would like to have been there on our first day. Highly recommend them!

I booked a tasting for 4 adults. It was our second stop for the day and we were already behind schedule. I called the winery to let them know and they were so lovely and accommodating, it made the rushed trip over less stressful. Our tasting experience was excellent. We shared a number of small platters, cheeses and cured meats etc but of course we were there for the wine. Gundog is one of my favourite multi-region producers and the wines we tasted were of exceptional quality. My favourite being the Hilltops Shiraz and the Rutherglen Muscat. Kylie looked after really well, she made the tasting experience a real joy. Thanks team, we all had a great time and left with some wines to devour over Christmas. Would definitely recommend. Also, we went with the standard tasting, $10pp. Totally worth it. Do yourself a favour and get over to Gundog!
