Literally in the bush, in the middle of nowhere situates this wonderful shop with warm welcoming owner. She is helpful and has a warmth about her. This shop will surprise you. I expected some groceries, food and drinks but I was in for a surprise. Books - good second hand ones, rare first (or early) editions, antique books, rare coins, other collectibles, T-shirts, curios, and …. EXPENSIVE JEWELLERY!! A $19,000 bracelet, $6,000 earrings… I was blown away. A million dollars worth of stock sitting in the middle of nowhere! She could have easily set that up in the town but I think she chose this place deliberately. What a way to stand out from the crowd! And she gets a lot of foot traffic in the store , mainly people travelling to St Helen’s . I picked up “Bring up the bodies” by Hilary Mantel for $10. They post your purchases to you if you are travelling and don’t want to carry things around. 5 out of 5!!
