Waddamana Power Station Heritage Site, Waddamana

A brilliant museum and site to visit. We had a fantastic and informative intro from Ian then explored the rooms and displays. The section on the village and life in the past was really interesting. Great to get up close with the old generator equipment in the main hall. It’s worth the drive and views on the road in and out as well.

Awesome to go and visit, we go every few years with the kids but this year was a pleasant surprise, welcomed at the door with a brief history of the power station, and some new exhibits opened up and they have done a fantastic job with them, it was such a great time, kids asking what things were, wasted over an hour close to two and stayed for lunch in the BBQ area which was really nice and clean! Go and check it out one weekend, you won't be dissapointed... oh... except where did the beautiful photo board go??!!
